Delete your Riffkit account

You can ask us to close your Riffkit account at any time, in the Riffkit app or by email. When you ask in the app, we delete your account within 30 days of your request, and we will email you when it is done. If you ask by email, we may need to verify your identity before acting.

In the app

  1. Sign in to the Riffkit app for iPhone or Android.
  2. Open Settings → My account.
  3. Choose Delete account at the bottom, then Continue to delete, and confirm.

If your account is still waiting for approval, choose Delete account below Sign out on the waiting screen, and confirm.

By email

On the web, or if you don’t use the app, write to [email protected] from the email address you sign in with, and ask us to close your account.

Your subscription

If you pay for a plan on the web, asking for deletion in the app stops it from renewing; it stays usable until the end of the period you paid for or until your account is deleted, whichever comes first. A plan bought through Google Play can only be cancelled in Google Play: open the Play Store, go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and cancel Riffkit there. A plan bought in the iPhone app through the App Store can only be cancelled with Apple: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel Riffkit there. Closing your Riffkit account does not cancel either of them for you.

What is deleted

Your account and your Content: source videos, avatars, generated videos, and the other things you made or added. If you are a member of a team, the videos and other content in the team stay with the team. We also end your sign-ins in every browser and app, your connections to AI assistants, and your upload links, delete your notification addresses, your AI agreement record, and your step records, and tell Apple to end Sign in with Apple’s access. After the applicable period we delete or de-identify your personal data.

What is kept

  • A minimal record (email address, role, team, and dates) for audit and abuse prevention, together with our log of sign-ins and other account actions, any reports you made, and your request to delete the account, and a normalized form of the email address so that one-time sign-up credits cannot be claimed again.
  • Billing records, as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Share-link statistics.
  • Assets submitted to AI vendors for generation or review, which may remain on their systems under their rules.
  • De-identified or aggregated data, which may be kept indefinitely.
