Can I use an Instagram Reel as the source?
Yes. Upload the Reel file and Riffkit analyzes it the same way it analyzes a TikTok link: the structure is decoded and rebuilt as brand-new footage. Paste-a-link input currently supports TikTok URLs; for Reels, upload the video.
Can I run the result as a Meta ad?
Yes. Every riff is original footage you own with full commercial rights, so it goes through Meta ad review like any other creative. If a video features realistic AI-generated people, use the platform’s AI-content label when you publish.
Is it legal to recreate a viral Reel?
