Put your product into a video that already works
Ask Claude or ChatGPT to put your product into a video of yours that already works, or into a template, and Riffkit renders it again with every shot, the timing and the sound in place. What you name is what changes: the product, the person, or one detail.

Add the address
One address, the same for every assistant. In Claude the button fills it in for you. In ChatGPT you turn on developer mode first (not every account has it), then paste it.

Ask in plain words
Paste one of the sentences below and fill in the brackets.
Ask for it
Ask for your product in the video.
Use the template [template name] and keep its shots, but put my product [product name] in it. Quote it first. Add a product called [product name]: [one-sentence description], and give me the upload box or link for its picture. Then find a template about [topic], put the product into it, keep the shots, and show me the price first. A TikTok link works as a source too. It should be a video you have the right to use, such as your own post. Where the line is. For another creator’s video, ask for the new story: Turn a TikTok into a product ad .
Before you ask
What you need to replace the product.
- A product with a picture. It can already be in your account, or your assistant adds it in the chat from a name and a description, and you add its pictures from your phone or computer. A product holds up to 8 pictures. An account that has never paid holds one product with one picture.
- Which pictures are used. A product on camera shows as many of its pictures as fit. A picture has a name, yours or one Riffkit writes from the picture when it can: say which ones you want and your assistant uses those.
- A source video. Start from a template from the library, the link to one TikTok video or a video file you add through your assistant’s upload box or link.
What comes back
The video, and where it is.
Riffkit shows your product in the shots of the source, from the pictures you gave it. It makes one video, or one for each character you name.
Your assistant tells you when the video is done and which one it is, and gives you a suggested caption and hashtags. Your assistant gives you a link that opens the video in your browser. The link works for 6 hours, for anyone who has it, and you can ask for a new one at any time. The file is not attached to the chat. The video is also in your Riffkit library, where you can download it.
Limits
What a product swap will not do.
- Pictures and videos come from your device. A file you attach to the chat does not reach Riffkit, and neither does a link to an image. For a product picture or a video file, your assistant shows an upload box or gives you a link to a Riffkit page where you add it.
- A swap must change something. A product needs at least one picture to count. If nothing would change, the request is refused and no credits are used.
- The product is on camera. A swap shows it in the shots of the source. It cannot stay off screen and only be talked about.
- The source keeps its words. The voice and any text already in the picture say what they said in the source. Pick a source whose lines fit your product.
- The whole clip is rendered again. Your product is drawn from its pictures in every shot, so check its label, logo and colour in the result before you post it.
- A swap is never shortened. The source video cannot be too long. A longer one is refused before anything starts, and your assistant can tell you the limit.
- The original decides the rest. The language, the music and the aspect ratio stay as they are.
Credits
What it uses in credits.
A swap is counted for every second of video, at a higher rate than a new story on the same engine. Each character is its own video. Seconds are counted whole, so the count can be slightly above the length of the source.
| Engine and quality | Credits per second |
|---|---|
| Seedance 2.0 Fast 480p | 50 |
| Seedance 2.0 Fast 720p | 100 |
| Seedance 2.0 480p | 60 |
| Seedance 2.0 720p | 120 |
| Seedance 2.0 1080p | 300 |
| Seedance 2.5 480p | 90 |
| Seedance 2.5 720p | 180 |
| MiniMax H3 768P | 80 |
| MiniMax H3 2K | 160 |
An account that has never paid can use Seedance 2.0 Fast 480p and Seedance 2.0 480p. On an account that has never paid, a video longer than one section is made a section at a time: the price shown first is for the first section, and the rest comes once you are on a plan. Plans are on the pricing page.
Price first: yes. Your assistant is set up to show it before it starts: exact for a template or a video file you added, an estimate for a new TikTok link.
Questions
Asked before the first one.
Which AI can swap the product in a video?
Riffkit can. Open Swap in the Riffkit app, or ask Claude or ChatGPT. Start from a video of yours that already works, or a template, and add your product with a picture. Riffkit renders the clip again with the same shots, timing and sound, and your product where the old one was held or shown. Check the label before you post.
Can AI put my product into any video?
Not any video. Through a chat assistant the source is a template, one TikTok video or a video file you add through your assistant’s upload box or link, and it cannot be too long. The rest of the video follows the source, and it is a new render, so watch the result before you post it.
What if my product has no picture yet?
Ask your assistant to add one: it shows an upload box, or gives you a link to a Riffkit page, and you add the picture from your phone or computer. Without a picture the product changes nothing. If it is the only change you named, the request is refused and no credits are used.
Can I change the person as well?
Yes. Name a character from your Riffkit account in the same request, and Riffkit makes one video for each character. On some engines the new person speaks in a new voice. Name none and the original person stays. Replace the person in a video.

Two ways. Keep the shots and change who or what is in them (Swap), or keep the formula and tell a new story for your product. Your assistant can price both.
